ENGLISH: It was a privilege recently to have my proposal accepted by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol to present a paper at the annual research conference held in the beautiful setting of Gregynog Hall near Newtown on 25 June 2015.
On a personal level, this was the first time that I had publicly spoken about my PhD research and it was an excellent occasion to speak to colleagues and share ideas about the direction of my work.
I was extremely pleased with the way the conference went, except being the most overdressed person in attendance, but I was happy with the way the presentation was received, particularly given the number of questions I was asked and the feedback that I received.
Being an inter-disciplinary conference, there were a number of interesting papers and posters presented on the day and it was evident that there are a number of rich research projects being undertaken in Wales and through the medium of Welsh.
CYMRAEG: Yr oedd yn fraint yn ddiweddar bod y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol wedi derbyn fy nghynnig i gyflwyno papur yn y Gynhadledd Ymchwil flynyddol a gynhaliwyd yn Neuadd Gregynog ger y Drenewydd ar 25 Mehefin 2015.
Ar lefel bersonol, hwn oedd y tro cyntaf i mi gyflwyno fy ymchwil PhD yn gyhoeddus ac roedd yn achlysur gwych i siarad â chydweithwyr ac ymchwilwyr eraill i rannu syniadau am y cyfeiriad o'm gwaith.
Roeddwn yn hynod o falch gyda'r ffordd yr aeth y gynhadledd, er mai fi oedd yr unig berson yn gwisgo siwt a thei, ond roeddwn yn hapus iawn gyda'r ffordd y derbyniwyd y cyflwyniad, yn enwedig wrth ystyried nifer y cwestiynau a ofynnwyd imi a'r adborth cefais.
Fel cynhadledd ryngddisgyblaethol, roedd nifer o bapurau a phosteri diddorol ar y diwrnod ac mae’n amlwg bod nifer o brosiectau ymchwil cyfoethog yn cael ei wneud yng Nghymru a thrwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg.
